In face of the changing due to the pandemic University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued guidelines on how colleges can include online education in their regular courses. Bhushan Patwardhan, vice chairman of UGC, said, "The of education has changed due to pandemic and online education is the new normal. It can be integrated with normal courses as per requirement. Many of the courses that involve theory can be completely shifted online. For courses like medicine and science, which have practical dossiers, online mode is not an option.
